EMPWRMNT’s global collection of handbags uses the same bag pattern recreated by different artisan communities around the world, which are hand embroidered/handcrafted specific to the artisan community and their specialism. Each piece has a documentary produced alongside it, showcasing the process and sharing the stories of the artisans behind the product, thus giving customers the opportunity to collect the same handbag made by different artisans around the world.
Collaborations & Partnerships
EMPWRMNT joins forces with companies and brands that wholeheartedly share its vision. We collaborate in the creation of unique pieces representative of shared values and work towards giving life to a common vision. We also partner with companies that promise a long-term commitment to the sustenance and support of artisan communities.To maintain the transparency element, all collaborations and partnerships are showcased through short videos.
Sustainable Development Goals
The SDGs are a collection of 17 interlinked global goals set by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015. They represent a universal call to action aiming to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure peace and prosperity for all. In our global collaboration with artisan communities, EMPWRMNT presently advances 7 Goals to safeguard the right to a sustainable and just future.
